مقدمـة:
مصطلح CCNP هو اختصار لــCisco Certified Network Professional.
إذا كنت محترف فى مجال الكمبيوتر، فإنك بالطبع تواجه تحدى فى عملية اللحاق بالتطورات التكنولوجية الحديثة, و من هنا فإنه يجب عليك توسيع معرفتك و مهاراتك مع إيجاد السبيل الصحيح لكى تثبت لكل من هم مثلك أو حتى للعملاء بالاضافة إلى المديرين أن لديك خبرات و مهارات تقنية عالية لذلك فإن توفيرمحاضرات أو معامل بالاضافة إلى بعض الأنشطة من شأنها زيادة معرفتك بالمنتجات و توظيفها بشكل يسد احتياجات العملاء وهذا ماتفعله الدورات التدريبية المؤهلة لشهــادة CCNP.

المهارات المكتسبة من الشهـادة:
يستطيع حاملى شهادة CCNP تركيب و تشغيل و إصلاح عيوب شبكات LAN المعقدة, و أيضاً شبكات Routed WAN وSwitched LAN بالاضافة إلى خدمات الدخول للشبكات.
و تعتمد الحلول التى يستطيع حامل هذه الشهادة تقديمها على مزيج من الجانبين التطبيقى و العملى مثل:
أولاً:
تركيب و تشغيل الشبكات من أجل زيادة كمية البيانات المحملة على الشبكة و زيادة سرعة استجابة الشبكة .
ثانياً:
رفع مستوى الأداء من خلال شبكات Campus Lans و Routed Wans بالإضافة إلى دخول الشبكة عن بعد.ثالثاً: تحسين مستوى تأمين الشبكة.
